Oso refers to Bear, my dog and life-companion. He's an adventurous husky/border collie mix, who's favorite thing in the entire world is to be out wildcrafting herbs, roots, and fungi and running around in the woods with his human.
Moya is my family name, and what my closest friends call me. I'm an adventurous naturalist/woodsman mix, who's favorite thing in the entire world is to be out wildcrafting herbs, roots, and fungi and running around in the woods with his dog.
Together, we are OsoMoya. We have a passion for natural medicines and a love of all things wild and free. My goal for OsoMoya is simply to make potent, healing, natural medicinals, and make them available to others who maybe don't have the time or the resources to create what they need themselves.
I've completed a two-year intensive herbal/wildcrafting apprenticeship with Columbine's School of Botanical Studies here in Eugene, studying with two of the best: Howie Brounstein and Steven Yeager. My products incorporate traditional remedies, my own experiments and findings, and the most up-to-date science and research on Nature's abundance. I'm currently studying botany and organic chemistry, and plan to use the knowledge in the cultivation of medicinal and nutritious plants and fungi.
Thanks for supporting us, and joining us on this journey!
